硬件需求检查 内存需求：
安装TSM服务器推荐使用12GB内存。
磁盘需求：
安装TSM最小磁盘空间需求如下：
/var目录需要5MB空间 /opt目录需要2GB空间 /tmp目录需要360MB空间 /usr目录需要300MB空间 /home目录需要2GB空间 TSM DB需要50GB空间 TSM DB log需要16GB空间
磁盘阵列检查：
操作系统可识别到磁盘阵列的磁盘。
磁带库检查：
操作系统需安装好磁带库的驱动，并可以识别到带库和驱动器，并且可以进行读写。 # lsdev -Cc tape

1.3 软件安装流程

1.3.3 TSM服务器初始化
执行/opt/tivoli/tsm/server/bin/dsmicfgx，运行配置向导进行初始化
输入用户名/密码：tsminst1/tsminst1
输入实例目录/tsmdata/tsminst
输入tsm数据库的目录/tsmdata/tsmdb/
选择活动日志大小为4GB
设置活动日志的目录为/tsmdata/tsmlog 设置归档日志的目录为/tsmdata/tsmarchlog
输入TSM服务器的名称，默认为主机名DBTEST
输入管理员的用户名/密码： admin/111111Aa
输入客户端和服务器端的通讯端口，使用默认的1500端口
1.4 软件配置
1.4.1 配置TSM服务器
登录到TSM管理控制台：
# cd /usr/tivoli/tsm/client/ba/bin64 # dsmadmc

1.4.2 配置带库设备
使用dsmadmc登录到TSM管理控制台 1． 定义磁带库

2． 定义带库到服务器的路径(需根据系统识别的设备进行调整)

3． 定义驱动器
TSM> define drive ts3100 drive1
4． 定义server到驱动器的路径
TSM> define path dbtest drive1 srctype=server desttype=drive library=ts3100 device=/dev/rmt1
5． 检入磁带并进行标号
TSM> label libvol ts3100 search=yes labelsource=barcode checkin=scratch
