一、情景导入
1. 情态动词本身有一定的词义,为谓语动词增添情态色彩,表示说话人对有关行为或事物的态度和看法,认为其可能、应该或必要等。我们学习过的can 和may 都属于这类词。 2. 情态动词无人称和数的变化,后面接动词原形,否定式是在情态动词后面直接加not,当我们想表达可能发生某事以及可能做某事时,可以用may / might表示 二、质疑探究
1. 情态动词may & might:
might可以作为may的过去式,也可以表达比 may可能性更小的可能性;might 和 may 都是情态动词,后面应加动词原形,即:Sb. might / may do sth 2. 形容词possible及副词possibly / probably 的常用结构: It is possible that + 句子.
It is possible to do sth. Sb. will probably / possibly do sth. (probably表示的可能性比possibly要大) 牛刀小试:一句多译: 明天可能会下雨。
