一、条件状语从句
《考点：a. If引导的条件状语从句和名词性从句的用法区别； b. unless，as/so long as 引导条件状语从句的用法。》
在句子中做条件状语的从句称为条件状语从句。条件状语从句可置于句首，也可置于句尾，有时还可以置于主语和谓语之间。条件状语从句主要由if（如果），unless（除非，如果...不），as/so long as(只要）等引导。
Eg：If Jenny goes to the concert, I will go, too. 如果珍妮去音乐会，我也去。
I won’t take part in Julie’s birthday party unless I am invited. =I won’t take part in Julie’s birthday party if I am not invited.
我不会参加朱莉的生日聚会，除非我被邀请。
As/So long as you promise to come, we will wait for you.
* 1.条件状语从句一般遵循“主将从现”原则
Eg: We will go for a picnic if it doesn’t rain this weekend.
I will go to the airport to meet you as long as you will come × →as long as you come. 只要你来，我就回去机场接你。
2.当if在从句中意为“是否”时，从句应根据句意选择相应的时态。
Eg: I don’t know if he will attend the meeting tomorrow.我不知道他明天是否参加这个会议。
二：时间状语从句
《考点：a.when, while的用法区别；

C.since的用法及常用句式； c.until 的用法；》
引导时间状语从句的从属连词主要有：when(当...时候）, while（当...时候）, as（当...时候）, before（在...之前）, after（在...之后）, until/till（直到...）, since（自...以来）, as soon as（一...就...)。在时间状语从句中，要注意时态一致）
1. when 和 while
同：当从句的谓语动词是延续性动词时，when和while都可以使用，可以互换； Eg: When we were dancing, a stranger came in. =While we were dancing, a stranger came in.
异：When可以引导延续性动词和非延续性动词，而while只能引导延续性动词； Eg: When you came in, I was talking with a few boys.
While we were waiting for the bus, it was raining heavily.
2. as soon as 的用法 as soon as : 一...就...
Eg：As soon as he heard the news, he jumped with joy.
一听到这个消息，他就高兴地跳了起来。
*as soon as 引导的时间状语从句如果表达将来时，则遵循“主将从现”原则。 Eg: I will write to you as soon as I arrive home. 我一到家就给你写信。
I will give you answer as soon as I finish reading your letter. 一读完你的信我就给你答复。
3. since 的用法
主句现在完成时，从句用一般过去时； 主句一般现在时，从句用一般过去时。
Eg: I have lived in England since I was three. 自三岁起我就一直住在英国。
It is two years since I became a college student. 我成为一名大学生已经2年了。
4. until 的用法
until： 直到...为止； not...until... : 直到...才..;
Eg: I will wait for you until you come back. 我会一直等，知道你回来。
You can not leave until you finish your homework.你不能离开知道你完成家庭作业。

Reading Comprehension
A Special Guest
Last year, my family welcomed a special guest—a boy called Stephen. He came to Shanghai as one of the many exchange(交换) students from Germany. In the following(以后的) four weeks, Stephen and I had classes and played together.
My family took Stephen to some interesting places in Shanghai, such as the Bund, the Grand Theatre and Xin Tian Di. Stephen enjoyed music. He liked to buy CDs of different styles(风格), so we took him to some CD shops. We often listened to the music together, and he even taught me Hip-pop dancing(嘻哈街舞). It was great fun!
The most exciting and happy moments we had were the time my family and Stephen spent at home. At first, Stephen couldn’t use chopsticks(筷子) well, but after a few days, he could use them to pick up dumplings! And Stephen liked chopsticks so much that he bought some pairs at YU Garden later. During his stay in Shanghai, Stephen didn’t have any toast(烤面包). Instead, he liked eating what Shanghai
people always have in the morning. But he didn’t like soybean milk(豆浆) at all!
I also found some other interesting things about Stephen. For example, he didn’t like vegetables. When we had dinner, Stephen ate fried food, pork and chicken, but almost no vegetables. What’s more, Stephen loved steamed bread(馒头) very much! He told me that he sometimes had rice at his German home and he liked it, too.
We had a lot of fun when practising calligraphy(书法).Stephen “drew” the Chinese characters(汉字) and finally signed his Chinese name “Da Li(大力)” at the bottom（底部）of the paper.
