Athens
Athens is a beautiful city named after the goddess of wisdom Athena (智慧女神雅典娜). It has a history of thousands of years. It is an important area from many points of view. Today, the capital of Greece looks like all the capitals with a small difference: the Acropolis (卫城) and its Parthenon Temple (巴特农神庙), the most important and well preserved heritage (遗迹) of the Ancient Greek civilization (古希腊文明), stands proudly over the busy town.
winter warm and damp, summer dry heat.The hottest months are in July and August .Many times, the temperature can soar above 40℃。The perfect timer to visit is in April and May when the weather is warm enough and sunny.
Food
With the Mediterranean Sea so close, fish is a favorite main course. Sheep are kept widely in Greece, so meat dishes often contain lamb. Besides roasts, Greek cooking special casseroles. Pastitsio is a kind of casserole dish of meat, macaroni, and sauce. Roast lamb is most Greek holiday meals. Special sweet breads are made at Christmas and Easter.
Maybe Greece is one of the most famous tourist attractions in the world. Let’s enjoy ourselves at the golden beach, watch the blue sky and clear sea, wait the suise and sunset. How beautiful and romantic!
