        三、情爱之美   
        这篇文章最感人之处是这对在物质上极其贫乏的夫妇之间深切的爱。虽然整篇文章都表现的是这对夫妇之间深深的爱以及作者对社会的鞭笞，但笔者还是设计了以下问题来强化学生对此的理解。
        a、Why did  Della sell her long hair and buy Jim a christmas present while Jim sold his gold watch and bought Della a chrstmas present?
        b、Explain the  title of this short story.
        What does it mean?
        c、Is the story hunorous or not?
