Jack is an 11-year-old boy. One day he was playing with a ball. The ball went into the street, and Jack ran after the ball. A car hit him. An ambulance took Jack to the hospital. The doctors in the hospital told Jack’s parents, “Jack’s head is hurt. Maybe he will wake up tomorrow. Maybe he will wake up next week. Or maybe he will never wake up.”
Every day Jack’s parents went to see him and talked to him. But Jack never talked to them. He just slept. One day Jack’s father said, “Wake up, Jack. Let’s go home and play with Cody.” Cody is Jack’s dog. When Jack’s father said “Cody”, Jack moved his arm. “Cody!” Jack’s father said again. Again Jack moved his arm. Then Jack’s parents

The next day, Jack’s parents brought Cody to the hospital. When they put the dog on Jack’s bed, Jack opened his eyes and hugged the dog. Jack’s parents brought Cody to the hospital every day. 基础写作(One possible version)
Cantonese is a dialect that is mainly spoken in Guangdong Province, Guangxi Province, Hong Kong and Macau. Although Cantonese shares much of its vocabulary with Mandarin, their pronunciations and grammars are different. Most non-native speakers in China think Cantonese is as difficult as a foreign language for learners.
Still, many people enjoy listening to it, saying that its tender tone sounds like soft songs. As a native speaker, I love this dialect very much, hoping it can be protected and passed down from generation to generation. 读写任务(One possible version)
The writer mainly talks about the result of a survey on how the Internet and digital search tools affect students’ study. According to the survey, teachers think they have both positive and negative effects.
Nowadays many students in my class study with the help of online resources. On one hand, they benefit a lot from the Internet. The Internet and search tools enable them to get the information they need, which helps them learn more and faster. On the other hand, some of them are too dependent on the Internet and they even get into the habit of copying everything they need.
As a student, I always try to use the Internet properly. It helps me in many aspects, such as searching information, listening to English materials and watching English movies. However, I won’t use the Internet to copy while doing homework or just to get a quick answer. Online resources increase my interest in study and help me study effectively.
