Last Monday we held a heated discussion about how to learn English well. Many of us put forward some good suggestions. At school ,for example, some of my classmates thought it was important to take an active part in the classroom activities and carefully do the homework.. For after school activities, some classmates recommended watching American TV show to improve our listening and speaking skills. Others agreeed that reading English novels was also a good way to practice English. I think all the suggestions are helpful. As for me , I prefer listening attentively to the teacher in class and form a habit of collecting useful words and expressions . What’s more , writing to my pen-pal in America helps me improve my English a lot .
