Dear David,
I'm glad to hear that you're interested in China's national poetry festival which I’ve just participated in. The event, with the opening ceremony held in Chengdu and the closing ceremony in Chongqing , appealed to over 1,000 poetry lovers throughout our country from November 1 to November 7.
There were various activities during the festival, including creating new works, stage performances, poetry club activities,seminars and visiting some historical sites to honor ancient poetry masters. I felt so lucky and inspired by those who devoted themselves to promoting our traditional culture and determined to spread people's strong spirit by sharing Chinese poems with more people.
I hope you can come to China to experience activities like the poetry festival
