ABSTRACT

Withthedevelopmentofthemobilecommunication,thedemandsofusersforthe

capacityofthecommunicationsystembecomeshigherandhigher.Butthefrequency

useableislimited,SOhowtoutilizethelimitedfrequencyandenhancetheefficiencyof

thefrequencybecomethehottopicofthemobilecommmfication.Acreative

technologyhasprovidedanovelsolutiontodeal、析mthisproblem,whichnames

Multiple-InputandMultiple-Output0VIIMO).wirelesssystems,characterizedby

multipleantennaelementsatthetransmitterandreceiver,canincreasedcapacityand

reliabilityinrichmultipathenvironments.Suchsystemsoperatebyexploitingthe

spatialpropertiesofthemultipathchannel,therebyofferinganewdimensionwhichCall

beusedtoenableenhancedcommunicationperformance.Whilecodingandsignal

processingarekeydementstosuccessfulimplementationofaMIMesystem,the

propagationchannelandantennadesignrepresentmajorparametersthatultimately

impactsystemperformance.Sodesignhighefficiencyantennaandlowrelationantenna

arrayisimportantforMIMosystem.

firstly,aintroductionofthediversityismade,thenaexplainabouttheantenna

diversityandthedemandfortheantennadesignaleallprovidedinthispaper.

Secondly,thevarioustheoreticalmethodsfortheanalysisofthemicrostripantenna

alebrieflydescribed.andthecavitymodeloftherectangularmicrostripantennais

revieweddetaily.Thenthetechniquesforbroadbandingandcompactingofmicrosrtip

antennasarealsodiscussed.Atlastacompactandbroadbandmicrostripantennaanda

llighisolationarrayaredeVised.

Lastly,tomakethebestuseofthelowprofileattributeofthedesignedmierostrip

anennaaprintedinvertFantennaisdesign,operatingfrequencyis2.4-,,2.5GHzand
