Ladies and gentlemen.
Today it is my great honor lo be here and give my speech. Today I watched a news, bulletin on TV. which says that numerous fish in Haihe River suffer from serious pollution. It shocked me deeply.
As wc all know. all the mhabitors share the earth. However, environmental pollution does great harm to living things and humans- making the earth unfit to live in. Air pollution, water pollution, noise pollution and so on are all around us. For example, many chemical factories drained hazardous gas without filtering it. cities were covered with so much hazardous gas that people were killed by the air they breathed in. Sooner or later, humans' evil action will make the horrible scenes in the movies, like The Day after Tomorrow become a reality.
What wc should do is take action before it becomes out of control. As for nations, they should set aside more money and establish more detailed laws and rules to prevent the environment from being further polluted as well as playing a more active role in utilizing international expertise and practicing, environmental protection. 作
