短语、固定搭配和句型串成篇(unit4) Years of fighting had almost left the area in ruins. That year would be at an end. However, the people in that area were still trapped in the war. A great number of people who died in the fighting were buried in the earth by their friends but later their bodies were dug out by the cruel king . What was worse, the king who was famous for his force thought little of the life of people in the area. It seemed as if he could control the world. However ,people’s all hope was not lost ,thanks to the force of the UN ,they wiped out the king right away. Judging from the thing , the king brought ruins upon himself instead of upon the people in that area.
