一．易混词语辨析
1. a/an，one
两者都有“一”的意思，后跟可数名词的单数，但a/an侧重表示事物的种类，one侧重表示事物的数量。另外，one可以作为代词。代替上文提到的事物中的一个。如：
I have an apple every day.= I have one apple every day.
This is a panda.
Which T-shirt do you like, the red one or the white one.
2. day，date
（1）day，意为“天，日子，节日”。
There are 28 or 29 days in February.
Christmas Day is coming.
-What day is it today? -It’s Monday.
（2）date，意为“日期，日子，时期”。
Do you know the date of her birth?
-What’s the date today? –It’s January 20th, 2011.
3. how many，how much
两者都可引导特殊疑问句，对数量进行提问，但其用法各有不同。
（1）how many +可数名词复数
How many books do you have?
（2）how much+不可数名词
How much water do you drink every day?
另外，how much还可用来询问价格，表示“多少钱”
How much is the cup?
4. look，see
look “看”，表示动作，加at 后跟宾语。
Please look at the picture.
see “看见，看到”表示结果。可直接跟宾语
I can’t see the picture clearly.
5. listen，hear
listen“听”，表示动作，加to 后跟宾语。
I like listening to music.
hear “听见、听到”，表示结果，可直接跟宾语。
I can hear you clearly.
6. look for，find
look for “寻找”，表示动作。find“找到”，表示结果。
I am looking for my pen. I can’t find my pen.
7. put on，wear
put on “穿上”，表示动作。
It’s very cold. Please put on your coat.
wear“穿着、戴着”，表示状态。
He often wears a blue shirt.
Mary sometimes wears a pair of sunglasses.
