Passage A
A lawyer, an artist and a musician got lost in the woods. At last they came to a farmer's house and asked if he could let them stay for the night.
'Sure,' the farmer said, ?But I've got room for only two of you in the house. The other one will have to sleep in the barn(马房、牛舍) with the animals, and the smell is very bad there.'

My name is Betty Sanders. I?m a telephone operator, and I work for Universal Telephone Company. My job at UTC is an interesting one.
