通过本课程的学习，使得学生可以了解和掌握国际货物买卖相关法律、商事组织法的规定；使学生了解西方两大法律体系的特点、法规。从而培养学生运用国际商法的基本理论和法律规定、具有处理国际贸易纠纷的能力，以确保贸易双方的利益。另外藉由透过双语课程的学习，使学生能够识别基本术语。
学习本课程，要求理论联系实际，尝试并逐渐掌握运用国际商法理论、知识分析和处理国际商事活动中的法律实务问题。在教学中，针对学生特点，力求以能力为本位，以应用为主线，以讲清概念，强化应用为重点，紧密联系业务实际，突出针对性和实效性。 四、重点内容：
