1.3 复用方式
GSM使用TDMA(时分多址)和FDMA(频分多址)。频率被分成两个频段,上行链路用于移动台发射信号,下行链路用于基站发射信号。每个频段被分成大小为200KHz的多个频率片段,称作ARFCN(绝对频率信道号)。除了在频率上分开以外,GSM在时间上也进行区分。每一个ARFCN都由8个移动台轮流使用。每个移动台在一个时隙(TS)内使用

ARFCN然后等待下一次轮到它时再使用。TS号和ARFCN一起称作一个物理信道。
