G.T.H. Getreide Terminal Hamburg
G.T.H. Getreide Terminal Hamburg is the largest company for warehousing grain and agricultural products. The terminal can store up to 255,000 metric tons. The focus is on green coffee, oilseeds and grain. Ships with a length up to 270 metres can moor at one berth, while three berths are available for barges and feeder ships.
Hansaport Hafen
Hansaport specializes in handling iron ore and coal. Up to 15 million metric tons are discharged yearly in Germany’s largest seaport terminal. Three berths with a quayside depth of 15.6 metres are available for seagoing ships. Two others serve barges. Up to 100,000 tons can be discharged in one day.
Kalikai
The Kalikai is specialised in handling fertilizers such as potash and magnesium products. Around 500 seagoing ships and inland barges tie up there each year. The annual cargo volume is as much as 4.5 million metric tons. The facility can also handle loose or bagged bulk cargo in containers.

Handling and storing grain, oilseeds, and animal feed is a specialty of Silo P. Kruse. The silos can hold up to 80,000 metric tons. The company also has special facilities for cleaning, drying, and pest control. Bulk cargo vessels can moor at two berths there, while another is set up for barges.

One of the major tank terminal operators in Hamburg is the Dutch Vopak concern, which operates two high-performance Vopak Dupeg terminals, one in Hamburg-Waltershof and one in Hamburg-Neuhof. Petroleum products, chemicals, vegetable oils and gases are handled there.

BUSS Ports – Multipurpose Experts
The Buss Group is one of the largest port and logistics service providers in the Port of Hamburg. It operates three terminals in Hamburg: the Buss Hansa Terminal, the Buss Ross Terminal, and the Buss Kuhwerder Terminal. The Buss Hansa Terminal takes care of container liner services and short-sea services. Project cargo and conventional general cargo is handled there, as well as Ro-Ro traffic. The Buss Ross Terminal specialises in handling bulk cargo, especially scrap and waste products. The Buss Kuhwerder Terminal is a high-performance multi-purpose terminal for all kinds of cargo.

The C. Steinweg Süd-West Terminal is a centrally located multi-purpose terminal. Almost anything can be loaded, discharged, or warehoused there: from containers through break-bulk cargo to metals, forest products, rolling cargo and project cargo.

The Rhenus-Midgard facilities in the Dradenauhafen section of the port are specialised in vehicles and other rolling cargo.
Along with two Ro-Ro ramps there are also two Lo-Lo berths for loading with ship’s gear or shoreside cranes.
UNIKAI
The company UNIKAI loads and unloads new and used cars, trucks, containers and all kinds of general cargo for pure car carriers and pure car and truck carriers.
Along with two Ro-Ro berths, they provide a container gantry crane and a mobile crane with a lifting capacity up to 104 metric tons.

Cruise Terminal HafenCity
Cruise Center HafenCity is very centrally located - the Hamburg city centre is within easy reach, a few minutes' walk from the terminal. The new underground train line will link the Cruise Center to the public transport system as from Autumn 2012. The Cruise Center Terminal has two berths and two check-in buildings. Constructuion of the new Cruise Ship Terminal in HafenCity will probalbly begin 2012.
Cruise Terminal Altona
After almost 3 years of preparatory planning and active construction Hamburg’s First Mayor, Olaf Scholz, inaugurated the Hamburg Cruise Center Altona. The first cruise ship arrived on 1st April 2011.
