我校首期33名赴台交换生顺利抵台
新学年伊始，我校首期赴台交换生共2批33人顺利抵达台湾，分赴台湾世新大学和玄奘大学开始了全新的交流学习。
33 Exchange Students Arrive in Taiwan
The new school year witnessed the launch-off of the Academic Year Exchange Student Program between Taiwan and Zhejiang University of Media and Communications. On (请补充到达具体时间)，the first two batches of 33 students landed on Taiwan. They would begin their study in Taiwan Shih Hsin University and Hsuan Chuang University respectively.
我校赴美国加州大学河滨分校交流学习的同学表现优异
Exchange Students to University of California, Riverside: A Credit to the School On（补充时间） , one responsible person for the Foreign Exchange Student Program telephoned ZUMC (Zhejiang University of Media and Communications) to highly commend the students studying there on their outstanding performance and express his hopes to enhance cooperation between the two universities. Among the six exchange students from ZUMC, Zhang Qicong from College of Management and Zhu Danni form College of International Cultural Communications stood out among 67 students from 18 famous colleges and universities of China, and were elected team leaders.
本学期我校共有6名学生通过了美国加州大学河滨分校的竞争性选拔，参加了为期一个 学期的交流学习活动。我校管理学院张其聪同学和国际文化传播学院朱丹妮同学表现出色，在来自18所国内知名院校的67名学生中脱颖而出竞选成为组长。加州大学河滨分校该项目负责人专程来电表示我校学生的表现使他们对学校又有了新的认识，希望双方能通过多种渠道进行合作交流。
我校积极拓宽外籍教师引进渠道
3月3日下午，美国协和大学尔湾校区国际教育学教授Damian Wyman来我校就派遣该校研究生来我校任教的事宜与国际处进行了会谈。双方主要就我校对外教的要求、外教的教学时间、居住条件和工资待遇等方面进行了交流。双方均对开展该项合作表示出极大的兴趣，并将对具体问题做进一步协商。
More Foreign Teachers to See on Campus
On the afternoon, March third, Damian Wyman, Prof. of International Education from Concordia University-Irvine and International Office of ZUMC (Zhejiang University of Media and Communications) attended a meeting to discuss matters concerned with sending graduates to teacher in ZUMC. The details for discussion
included basic requirements for foreign teachers set by ZUMC, teaching time, accommodation, salary and so on. Both sides pledged to hold further negotiations on this cooperation program.

Talks With Metropolitan State University of America: Joint Cultivation

On March twelfth, Doctor Paul Huo, dean of Faculty of Management, Metropolitan State University of America visited Zhejiang University of Media and Communications. The
two sides held talks over the future joint cultivation models, such as “1+3”program for
undergraduates and “1+1”program for MBA, with the former focusing on majors of
management for students of open enrollment, screenwriting and technological media.

Li Jun, Vice President Meets Vice Dean of Coventry University
On March twenty-second, Li Jun, vice President of Zhejiang University of Media and Communications meet a small delegation of three people led by Wallace Murdoch, vice dean of Coventry University. At the meeting, they exchanged views about several cooperation programs including “2+2” and “3+1” double-major models for undergraduates, winter camp program and exchange student program. After the meeting, at the invitation of Zhu Hong, vice mayor of Tongxiang prefecture, northeast of Zhejiang province, the delegation visited the Tongxiang campus of ZUMC, the Woolen Sweater Market and 32D Innovation Square of Puyuan, the biggest woolen sweater distributing center of China.

由国际舞台美术组织、中国舞台美术学会主办，浙江传媒学院承办的第二届舞美灯光设计国际论坛于4月6日在我校隆重举行。参加本次论坛的有国际舞台美术组织主席Louis先生、前任国际舞美组织主席Michael先生、中国舞台美术学会副会长周正平先生及来自15个国家和地区的30余位中外
专家和代表，我校彭少健校长、李军副校长、艺术设计学院教师宋伟君及影视艺术学院教师王霄也应邀出席了此次论坛。同时我校相关专业部分师生也列席了此次论坛。
The 2nd International Forum of Lighting Design Held at ZUCM
On April 6, the 2nd International Forum of Lighting Design was held at Zhejiang University of Media and Communications (ZUMC). Professor Peng Shaojian, president of ZUMC attended and spoke at the opening ceremony. The forum was jointly sponsored by International Organization of Scenographers, Theatre Architects and Technicians (OISTAT) and China Association of Stage Art(CASA) and organized by ZUMC. Present at the forum were Mr. Louise, president of OISTAT, Mr. Michael, former president of OISTAT, Zhou Zhengping, vice president of CASA, 30 other representatives from 15 countries and regions as well as some teachers and students of ZUMC.
英国贝德福特大学在我校进行留学英语综合测试
在我校国际交流与合作处的组织下，英国贝德福特大学于4月11日下午在我校进行了留学英语综合测试。此次考试主要面向我校有意向赴该校留学的应届本专科毕业学生，考试分笔试和口试两大部分，笔试试卷带回英国批阅。
贝德福特大学代表Grace Zhou 女士介绍说，此次英语测试成绩合格证书可用于申请留学贝德福特大学以及办理英国签证申请。此次考试对于有意向留学英国、但尚未来得及准备雅思考试的同学提供了又一次机会。
Chance Knocks But Twice to Study in University of Bedfordshire On April 11, the exam, titled Comprehensive Test of International English Language was held by University of Bedfordshire (UB) at Zhejiang University of Media and Communications(ZUMC). According to Lady Grace Zhou，a responsible person from UB, this exam was designed to provide an chance for the students who aspired to pursue study in UB, especially for those who didn’t have enough time to get prepared for IELTS . The certificate of qualification could be used both in application of admittance into UB and application of Britain visa.
