面对着当今市场激烈的竞争、迅速变化的形势,制造企业必须不断地缩短产品开发周期和提高产品的质量。传统的制造业已经进入到了一个巨大的变革时期,计算机和信息技术日益发展、成熟,越来越深入的应用到制造领域。现在我国正不断地引进消化吸收国外先进制造技术和经验,集成制造、敏捷制造、虚拟制造、虚拟装配等先进技术正在深入普及。
在产品设计、制造各环节中,产品装配是一个很重要环节,也是影响产品质量和建造周期的重要因素之一。虚拟装配技术是一种全新的设计概念。它可有效支持自顶向下的并行产品设计可装配性设计,以缩短产品开发周期,因此虚拟装配技术的应用价值和重要性越来越受到制造企业的认可,它可以大幅缩短建造周期,提前发现并改进现场施工的不合理环节,减少返工率,降低建造成本。目前中国航空制造业在虚拟装配技术中的研究和应用有了长足的发展,而在船舶和汽车行业中的应用还处于初级阶段,尤其在海洋工程大型设备装配领域的研究还很少。本文借鉴在大飞机应用的经验和方法,探讨虚拟装配技术在机械制造行业应用方法,希望对我国机械制造业的发展起到一定推动作用。

In all sectors of product design and manufacturing, product assembly is a very important part but also an important factor in product quality and construction cycling. Virtual assembly technology is a new design concept. It can effectively support parallel top-down design for assembly to shorten the product development cycle, therefore ,the value of virtual assembly technology and importance of recognition are more and more applied by manufacturing enterprises. It can significantly shorten the construction period, found in advance and improve the irrational aspects of site construction, reduce the rework rate, reduce construction costs. China's aviation industry is currently in a virtual assembly technology research and application have made great progress, but in the marine and automotive industry applications at an early stage, In particular , the research in the field of large equipment in the marine engineering is very little.
