Teaching aims

!.learn the new words in Section A: pierce, license ,silly ,earring, sixteen _year olds :have part time job.

2.Leatn the structure“should/shouldn’t+be allowed to do sth.”by listening to the dialogues.

3.Learn to talk about what we are allowed to do and one’s agreement and disagreement with the structures“should/shouldn’t+be allowed to do sth.”and the target language.

Teaching main and difficult points.

1. Master the new words and phrases: license ,silly, allow to do sth. go out with sb. Get one’s ears pierced .go to the mall. 2. Master the target language:

I think students should be allowed to do homework with friends I disagree. They talk instead of doing homework Sixteen—year olds should not be allowed to drive. I agree. They aren’t serious enough at that age.

Show pictures of a beautiful girl and ask“Do you think the girl in the picture is beautiful? Why? ”S:Discuss. T:She can choose the clothes that she likes. Can you choose your own clothes?
