Mistakes are unavoidable in life. But attitudes with them may make a difference. I still remember whether my spoken English improved. At the beginning, I always kept silently in oral class to avoid make mistakes. Before long my teacher knew about my situation. He encouraged me speak out what I wanted to say regardless of mistakes. Whenever I made mistakes and felt discouraging, my teacher and classmates would help me figure out how I could have avoided it. Practice makes perfect. With time going by, I build up my confidence, and now I can talk fluently in English. Just as the saying goes, every bean have its black. Don’t be afraid of making mistakes. Learn from them, and success is just awaiting for us.

The earth is on the fire and it’s getting hotter and hotter. Global warming trend is very severer at present. People around the world may feel that the climate have been getting steadily warmer and warmer in recent years. It’s side effects are alarming. A warmer global climate melts the ice caps, raised sea levels. Moreover, it disturbed weather patterns, causing droughts, severe storms and hurricanes. People suffer a lot disasters relevant to global warming. To stop global warming we should make immediate or continual efforts. You hope the situation will soon change. Global warming catches and holds our concern, for it affects us and will affect our late generations. We cannot wait any longer. Do it right now.

If you are on the street, and looking around, you will see all kinds of people passing by, and it’s not rare to see bad manner. Some throw away rubbish casually wherever they go; some spits on the street; some even sit and lie on the ground without considering others, so on. All these are real not good behavior in public.
Personally, smoking in crowded places annoys me the most. As we know it, smoking is harmful with one’s health. It is not only harmful to smokers themselves, but also a threaten to public health. I really hope there are any efficient ways to educate these people and help them behave well in public.

I’m happy to accept your letter. Now I’ll tell you about my plan to my summer vacation. My summer vacation will last for two months. I would go on a guided tour around our capital Beijing, there I can visit some places of interest. I will either tour the campus of Tsinghua University. Then I can spend four weeks take a summer course, hoping they will help me improve my future studies. After that, I’ll stay at the home to relax myself. Dear Cathy,
We feel very much honoring to invite you to take part in our trip to Zigui County, Hubei Province, that is the hometown of Qu Yuan, famous Chinese poet. Our class has planned to make it a six-days trip, from July 20th to 25th. It was aimed to help learn more about the Dragon Boat Festival, one of the traditional Chinese festival, which is observed in the honor of memorizing the great poet. During the trip we will hold such activities that visiting Zigui County, watching the Dragon-boat Race, taste zongzi with the villagers and listening to the stories about Qu Yuan. How happy my family are when they know you’ll stay with us for two months! My parents have already prepared for a room with things you need for you. It can serve both a bedroom and a study. We will be able to share such a lot of pleased hours as going to school, taking exercises, and visit places together. In order to provide good guidance and reference for nearly 1,000 senior high graduates in our school, the Students’ Union makes a survey among the previous year graduates on the filled applications for the college entrance examination. According to the statistics of the survey, half of the graduates received their teachers’ suggestions, believed that the teachers have a better understanding for their learning conditions. Therefore, 35% of the graduates followed their parents’ advice as they are used to obey their arrangements and trusting their decisions. In comparison, 10% of the graduates preferred to make an independent choices, arguing that nobody knows them any better than themselves. The rest of them just made their choices depending on the final results of the published scores and ranking.

The other day I had appointment in the nearby coffee house. I usually like my appointments later in the afternoon and early evening. When I was done I asked the receptionist for some tape, grabbing some paper from my purse, and wrote, “ This is a random act of kindness. This snack is on me. Have a nicer day!” I take the note, a smile card and a one dollar bill, and taped it on the glass of the machine. I went away then so I had to pick up kids to home. Even though it was a tiny act of kindness, it still made me feel real great! I hoped that person passed the smile card over with another act of kindness!

When I was in Grade Four, Mr. Wang took us to going camping. At arriving at the campsite, we put our luggage down, took a walk in the forest. Then we had a difficulty project: to build a small house in the forest. After the project finished the sky was dark. We returned back to the campsite to have supper. We roasted hotdogs on the bonfire（篝火）. The hotdogs smell good. The teacher said that although we did not like to eat it, we could put the food in the round container besides the table. Later the food would be taken to feed the animals.
