Abstract: Usingpolysulfone(PSF),sulfonatedpolyethersulfone(SPES)andcellouseacetate(CA)asmembranemate-rials,waterasinternalcoagulantagent,thehollowfiberasymmetricmembrane(PSF-SPES)weremadebydry/wetphaseseparation.Theeffectsofdifferentionexchangecapacity(IEC),SPESconcentration,differentaddictiveagents,externalcoagulantagents(PEG200,butanolandpropanol)andheatingtreatmentonmembraneperformancewerediscussed.Thecross-sectionalandsurfacestructureofhollowfibermembraneswereexaminedbyelectronscanningmicroscope.There-sultofexperimentshowsthattheretentionofw=0.001Na2SO4aqueoussolutionwas19.9%withfluxbeing62L/(h m2 MPa),andtheretentionofw=0.001PEG4000aqueoussolutionwas78.2%withfluxbeing85L/(h m2 MPa).Besides,usingPSF-SPEShollowfibermembraneassupportmembraneandCAaqueoussolutionascoatingsolution,CA/PSF-SPEScompositemembraneswerepreparedandtheperformanceofthecompositemembraneswasstudied.Thestruc-tureofCA/PSF-SPESultra-filtrationmembranewasalsodiscussed.
