3. Free talk:Thanksgiving Day Step Two: Lead in New Lesson and presentation. L77 1. Learn in new words &expressions --Ask Ss to read this words by themselves. --Then T to teach Ss to read.

--T/S share their experience of seeing a dentist. 3.Presentation
--Ss watch the video then answer this question, “What time of the day is it, do you think? How do you know”
--T/S study the dialogue between the nurse and Mr. Croft together, notice the use of auxiliary verb ?can? and ?must? and the way of telling time and dates there. --Ss read the dialogue aloud once, then practise reading it with a partner. --Reading competition. --T/S review times in the past from Lesson 72 on P143. --Ss study more past times in the box on P155. 3.Practice --T/S look at the times, days, months, years, and dates on P159, and review the prepositions that go before them.
--T/S do Exercise A on P160 together.
--T/S study the example in Exercise B, then do Exercise 1~4 together.
