global warming. California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and New York’s Mayor Michael Bloomberg have joined forces on the front lines.

Schwarzenegger is running for reelection this year, and it’s up to him, say California political watchers, to distance himself from President Bush, who is unpopular in this state.
