一、教学内容
外研版小学英语六年级上册第四模块第Unit1 3. Listen and say. 4. Practise.&Unit2 5. Listen and say. Then Chant. 二、教学目标
1. 大多数学生能够听、说、读、写单词或短语:Thanksgiving,Thanksgiving Day,flag,Flag Day,fly,American,special,meal,sound,football。
2. 大多数学生能够听懂并会用句型:...is my favourite festival. We always have a special meal. We say “thank you” for our food, family and friends.谈论感恩节,圣诞 节等。
3. 能够运用所学的语言知识进行交流。 三、教学重难点 重点:
1. 听、说、读、写单词和短语:Thanksgiving,Thanksgiving Day, flag, Flag Day,fly,American,special,meal,sound, football。
2. 学习句型:...is my favourite festival. We always have a special meal. We say “thank you” for our food, family and friends. 难点:

3. football足球,美国通常指橄榄球,soccer足球,英式足球。 四、教学准备
1. 同步课文动画、课文录音(可在优教平台打开“Module4 Unit1 活动3课文动画” “Module4 Unit2 活动5课文动画”直接使用)。 2. 单词卡片.
3. 第2课时教学课件。 五、教学设计
Step 1 Warm-up
1. Use the word cards to play the finger game to revise the new words of last lesson. 2. Use the picture of the text of last lesson to revise the dialogue of Unit1 Activity 2. 设计思路:通过游戏和卡片以及课文教学挂图复习了前面所学到的知识,提高了学生的英语学习兴趣和积极性,让学生快速地进入学习状态。 Step 2 Preview 老师提出几个问题:
1. What is Simon’s favourite festival? 2. What do they do on Thanksgiving Day? 3. When is Christmas Day?
设计思路:通过这三个问题的设置,可以起到承上启下的作用。让第一环节自然过渡到第二个环节,第二环节又自然过渡到本节课重点部分,即下面的新授环节。 Step 3 Presentation 1. Activity 3 Listen and say.
After revising the dialogue, let the students pick out the following sentences in the dialogue.
A: Can you tell me more about American festivals? B: Well, Thanksgiving is my favourite festival. A: What do you do on Thanksgiving Day?
B: We always have a special meal. We say “thank you” for our food, family and friends.
Then let them listen to the tape and repeat after the tape. Next, let the whole class practise in halves. Close the book and recite the dialogues together. At last, ask students individually to recite the dialogue in the class. 2. Activity 4 Practise.
Use PPT to show some pictures about Christmas on the screen, and talk about the pictures. And ask the students some questions. T: Which festival is it in the pictures? Ss: It’s Christmas Day. T: When is Christmas Day?
Ss: It’s December 25th.
Talk about Christmas with the whole class. Then let them write about Christmas. 3. Unit 2 Activity 5 Listen and say. Then chant.
Tell the students: Just now we knew the children in the western counties like Christmas. Because the children can play with their friends together. They can say the chant together, too. OK! Now open your books, turn to Page 24 and look at Unit 2 Activity 5. There is a chant for us. Let’s listen to the tape at first, then repeat, and at last say the chant together. (Clap their hands at the same time.)
设计思路:本环节的设计主要是对本单元的单词和句型进行进一步的巩固和训练,通过游戏和竞赛等各种各样的操练形式来操练单词、重点句型和对话,让学生在轻松愉快的氛围中巩固和运用所学的新知。 Step 4 Consolidation and extension 1. 活动一:
让学生四人一组进行歌谣练习然后上台展示,看哪组表现好,表现好的给予加分奖励。 2. 活动二:
播放一个外国小朋友过圣诞货的短片,让学生深人体会圣诞节的来历和意义。以及圣诞节的习俗。让学生用英语谈论圣诞节。
设计思路:本环节设计了两个活动,使学生在合作探究中完成学习任务,运用所学的新知识。 Step 5 Homework
1. 听Activity 3 Listen and say.部分录音,模仿表演。 2. 用英语写一篇关于圣诞节的小短文。 六、板书设计
