Unit4 Seeing the doctor

一、单元教学内容: 本单元共分为八个部分。Story time讲述了灰姑娘的童话故事;Grammar time主要系统教授What’s wrong with…?及回答以及情态动词should和否定式shouldn’t的用法;Fun time以角色表演的形式复习学生口语;Sound time教授[ch]的发音;Culture time引导学生了解摄氏度和华氏度;Cartoon time以生动的故事形式灵活运用What’s wrong with…?及回答以及You should…;Checkout time巩固学生对动词短语的运用。

二、单元教材分析: 本单元话题是看病,教学重点是表示建议的情态动词should和其否定式shouldn’t的用法。有关询问和描述病情的句型What’s wrong with you?和I have a headache/…也是本单元的另一个重点教学内容。

三、单元教学目标:

1.会听说读写词组:brush one’s teeth, drink water, eat sweets, have a rest, take medicine 2.学会疑问句型“What’s wrong with you?”和“What should I do”,以及对它们的答语。 3.了解并掌握情态动词的用法。 4.读准字母组合ch的发音。 四、单元教学重点:

1. 能理解Story time的内容,并会复述。

2.会使用如下两个句型,并能在日常对话中使用:What’s wrong with you? I have? What should I do? You should. 3.掌握情态动词的用法。 4.掌握字母ch组合的发音。 五、单元教学难点:

1.会复述Story time的内容。

2.会自如运用如下两个句型,并能在日常对话中使用。What’s wrong with you? I have? What should I do? You should. 3.了解并掌握情态动词的用法。

4.单词medicine temperature的发音。

六、单元课时安排: 第一课时:Story time

第二课时:Grammar time, Fun time 第三课时:Culture time, Cartoon time

第四课时:Sound time, Checkout time, ticking time

教学内容 教学课时 第1课时 Seeing the doctor (Story time) 主备人 复备人 教学目标 1.能理解并会朗读故事。 2.能听说读写四会单词和词组。 3.能运用所学词组和句型谈论有关生病的话题。 4.通过本课的学习,让学生养成良好的生活习惯,在生活中学会照顾自己和他人。 教学重点:能够理解并表演故事seeing the doctor;四会单词的掌握。 教学难点:能够在情境中运用所学句型。 1.教具准备:PPT, 图片 2.教学准备:学生预习故事 3.板书准备:尺、图片 教学重点与难点 教学准备及手段 教 学 过 程 Step 1 Greetings & Warm up Free talk and do some exercise. Step 2 Presentation 1. Watch and guess Guess: What’s the matter with Billy? Learn: should, take some medicine 1. Look and guess Look at the pictures of the story time. What’s wrong with Su Hai? Let the students try to know more words about “ache”. 3. Listen and check What’s wrong with Su Hai? 2.Read and find Read the dialogue loudly and try to find out the answer of the question. What’s the doctor’s advice? Teach: have a rest(板书) 5. Think and discuss If you are the doctors, please give some advice to Su Hai. 6. Think and write Help Su Hai finish the note to be absent. 7. Look and say What’s wrong with Mike? Will he go to see the same doctor?

Step 3: Consolidation 1. Show time and summary 2. Play the video Enjoy the video and try to discuss: How to be healthy? Think and discuss Try to give some advice about healthy. 3. Change the title “To be a healthy child!” Say “Goodbye!” to the doctors. Step 4: Homework Read and share the story with parents. Help Bill finish the note.
