一、教学内容：Unit3 I’m more outgoing than my sister. (Revision) 二、教材及学情分析：
本课是新目标（Go for it!）八年级上册书中的第三单元的复习课。在本单元出现了形容词和副词的比较等级，这是一项非常重要的语法项目，学生只有熟练掌握了形容词和副词的比较级的变化规则和用法，才能为以后形容词副词的最高级的学习打下基础和做好铺垫。
单元总体目标通过本单元的复习使学生熟练运用形容词和副词比较级进行两者间的比较。
三、单元整体目标分析
1、知识与能力：
(1)复习巩固本单元的重点单词及相关短语的用法outgoing better loudly
quietly be different from the same as be similar to等.
(2)熟练运用形容词副词比较级表述个性特征,对人物进行比较。
能用A + be + adj.比较级+than+B 结构描述不同人物的区别, 能用as + adj.原级+as 描述不同人物的相同处,学会用both描述不同人物的相同处。 (3) 能运用所学的目标语言，进行听、说与写的活动，完成相关任务。 2、过程与方法：
采用Practicing，Summarizing，Free talk和Pairwork的学习策略，利用教学幻灯片来展开课堂Pairwork问答式的口语交际活动、写作训练，复习、巩固，运用“使学生熟练运用形容词比较级表达两人或事物之间的比较的目标语言。
3、情感态度与价值观：
1) 能了解人与人之间的差异性，介绍朋友时要尊重朋友, 实事求是地评价朋友和自己。
2) 能正确看待自己和他人的优缺点，学人之长，补己之短 珍惜培养朋友之间真实而美好的友谊。

1）单音节词末尾加-er（比较级），small smaller
2）单音节如以e结尾，只加-r（比较级），-st（最高级）fine finer 3) 闭音节单音节词如末尾只有一个辅音字母，须先双写这个辅音字母，再加-er（比较级），-est（最高级） big bigger biggest
4) 少数以-y，-er，ow，-ble结尾的双音节词，末尾加-er（比较级），-est（最高级）。以-y结尾的词，如-y前是辅音字母，则变y为-i，再加-er和-est。以-e结尾的词只加-r和-st。 【例】 clever cleverer cleverest
