·Language: 1. 特殊疑问句：
用特殊疑问词引导的疑问句叫特殊疑问句。回答是不能使用yes或no， 降调。
特殊疑问句结构：特殊疑问词+一般疑问句。 但如果问的是主语或主语的定语时，这时特殊疑问句结构：特殊疑问词（主语）+陈述句。 如：Who’s not here today? Which pen is red?
疑问词包括疑问代词、疑问副词和疑问词组。
a. 疑问代词:可以对主语、表语、宾语提问，有what（对“物”提问），who
（对“人”提问），which（哪一个），whose(谁的)，whom（宾格“谁”）。 在书面语中，whom作动词宾语或介词宾语，在口语中作宾语时，可用who 代替，但在介词后只能用whom。 如：Who(m) did you meet on the street? To whom did you speak on the campus?
b. 疑问副词：用于对状语提问，有when（何时），where（何地），why
（为什么）和how（怎么样）等。
c. 疑问词组：how long多长时间,how soon多久，how far多远，how
often多久一次，how many/ much多少。
d. 特殊否定疑问句一般有劝告、建议、责备等意味。 e. 句子改写：
1）What height/length/depth/width/ weight/speed/size/age...? →How high/long/deep/wide/heavy/fast/large/old...?
如：What’s the height of that mountain?
What height is that mountain ? How high is that mountain ?
What’s Tom’s age? How old is Tom?
2） What be ...like? → How...?
如：What’s the weather like today? → How is the weather today？
3）How ... like? → What ... think of ...?
如：How do you like Chinese people? → What do you think of Chinese people? 4) How much ...? →What’s the price of ...?
5) How large is the population of...? → What’s the population of ...?
f. 用ever, on earth 或 in the world 放在疑问词后强调
如：Where on earth / in the world / ever did you pick that up ?

2. 不定冠词a/an的用法：
1.a 用在以辅音音素开头的单词前，an 用在以元音音素开头的单词前。 2.不定冠词的基本用法是指某人或事物的某一种类。 3.泛指某人或某物，但又不具体说明何人何物。
4.表示“数量”，有“一，每一”的意思，相当于every。 如：We have six classes a day . 我们一天上六节课。 5.在叙述中，常用不定冠词引出一个新词。例如：
