1教学目标
1. 语言知识目标:
1) 学习掌握下列词汇: background, interview, Asian, deal with, dare, private, guard, require 2) 阅读短文,能按要求获取相关的信息,理解短文意思。
3) 通过阅读训练来提高学生们的阅读能力,特别是归纳语言的能力。 4) 学习运用used to来表达“过去常常”存在的状态或的发生的动作。 2. 情感态度价值观目标:
让学生明白事物是在不断发展、变化的道理,培养学生积极向上的心态。
2学情分析
学生们学习英语的时候,总是感到很困难,全班32人,有一半英语基础较差,不能对英语的阅读产生兴趣,对知识点掌握也不是十分牢固。通过英语课的学习使他们能有所提高,达到交际的目的。
3重点难点
教学重点: 1) 掌握本部分出现的生词和词组,达到熟练运用的目标。 2) 阅读短文,获得相关的信息。通过阅读练习,来提高阅读能力。 2. 教学难点: 1) 阅读短文,获得相关的信息的能力和归纳语言的能力。 2) 理解并运用所学的词汇及表达方式。
4教学过程
活动1【练习】使用 used to do ,but now 句型来造句
课件从复习旧知识话题,到王坎迪过去有什么害怕的事情,导入新课的学习。 活动2【导入】Warming up
Warming up展示一张Candy Wang的照片,并询问学生们如下问题。 1. Who’s beautiful and outgoing girl? She’s the famous singer Candy Wang. 2. Can you guess what she was like? Yeah, she used to be very shy. 3. Do you want to know her story? She took up singing to deal with her shyness. As she got better, she was not shy anymore and loved singing in front of crows. Now she’s the Asian pop star. 活动3【活动】 Reading
1. Tell Ss to read the article and identify the paragraphs in which the following information appears.
