告诉学生要养成早睡早起的好习惯,上学尽量不要迟到。
二、教具准备
1.卡片:
(1)单词卡片usually,half,past,hour,walk等。 (2)一些动词原形及其过去式的卡片。
(3)词组卡片:get up,take a taxi,go to school,get to school等。 2.一个纸板钟、卡通人物玩偶和本课六幅图。 3.录音机或教学光盘。
三、教学过程 Step 1 Warming up
1.师生互致问候。 2.欣赏韵律诗:Late。
Late迟到 Last night 昨晚 I went to bed late,我很迟睡觉, Two hours late.迟了两小时。 This morning今晨 I got up late,我迟起, An hour late.迟了一小时。 Too bad,too bad, 糟糕,糟糕, I got to school late,我上学迟到了, Ten minutes late.迟了十分钟。 3.揭示课题。
教师根据韵律诗的内容说:“I went to bed late.I got up late.I got to school late.It’s an unusual day.Today we will talk about an unusual day.”
板书课题:Unit 6 An Unusual Day Part A。 Step 2 Presentation
(一)初读课文,理解课文内容。
1.教师说:“It was an unusual day for Wang Tao.What happened?” 2.教师播放课文录音,学生边听边看课文插图,理解故事大意。 3.请学生根据自己的理解,说说课文谈论的是什么事,如:Wang Tao got up late. Wang Tao was late for school. Wang Tao went to school by taxi.
(二)根据课文内容,学习使用频度副词usually讲述行为和习惯。 1.教学单词usually。
(1)教师先出示问题:“When does Wang Tao usually get up?How does he usually go to school?When does he usually get to school?”然后出示单词卡片,引出教学单词usually。
(2)教师出示单词often,区别often 与usually两个单词的用法。 (3)教师出示get up,go to school和get to school三个词组,复习它们的音和义。
[ 2.教师播放课文录音,学生边听边看,找出答案。 3.教学at half past…的表达法。
(1)教师出示六点半的钟面说:“Wang Tao usually gets up at six thirty.”告诉学生at six thirty的另一种表达法是at half past six。
(2)教学单词half和past,然后出示钟面,教师随机拨动钟面上的指针,操练at half past six,at half past two等。
(3)教师提出问题,学生自由回答,如: When do you usually get up?
When does your mother usually get up? When do you usually have breakfast? …
4.教学单词walk和词组walk to。
(1)教师出示单词talk,引导学生说出walk的发音。
(2)教师给出不同的关于地点的单词,操练walk to…。如:walk to the park,walk to the supermarket,walk to the hospital等。
(3)教师出示句子I usually walk to school.请学生说出该句话的另一种表达法:I usually go to school on foot.
(4)教师提出问题,学生自由回答,如: How do you usually go to school?
How does your grandpa usually go to the park? How does your mother usually go to the supermarket? …
5.学习词组get to school。
(1)教师出示词组get up,get into等,请学生读一读,明白它们的含义。 (2)教师出示词组get to school,并通过图片,让学生明白其含义。 (3)学习句子He usually gets to school at seven twenty.并请学生说一说自己通常到达学校的时间。
6.根据板书,请学生说一说课文中的这三句话。Wang Tao usually gets up 6:30 walks to school
