动词不定式用法之小结
在英语中，除不能做谓语外，动词不定式可以做： 1. 主语。如To study English well is important. 这种情况下，通常用形式主语it来代替不定式主语，而把不定式主句放 在后面。本句即可写为：It is important to study English well. 2. 表语。如My job is to teach you English. 3. 定语。如I have many things to eat. To eat对things进行限定，说明thinhs是吃 的东西，而不是玩的或其它什么东西。
4. 状语（常见的是目的状语，有时也可做结果状语）。
如：They will come to see me tomorrow. 他们明天要来看望我。 To see me看望我是they will come的目旳
5. 补语。They often ask me to have dinner. 他们常请我吃饭。
To have dinner吃饭这个动作是由宾语me来执行的, 故to have dinner是me的 宾语补足语。
6. 宾语。如：I hope to hear from you soon. 我希望不久收到你的来信. To hear from you就是动词hope的宾语。 等六种成份。
如何把特殊疑问词引导的宾语从句变为一个简单的短语？ 很简单，简化为特殊疑问词+to+从句中的动词原形。例如：
She wants to know what she should do next. 她不知道下一步该干什么。 其中划线部分即可简化为what to do. 即:She wants to know what to do next.
