Dear classmates,
A sudden earthquake happened in Yushu, Qinghai Province on the morning of August 14th, 2010. Seven people lost their lives, hundreds of people were hurt, what was worse, many people lost their homes. After the news was reported, people showed their love in different ways. Some gave food, clothes, medicine and everything necessary, and some even gave money to them. As students, of course we should give a hand to those people in trouble. We can raise money and school things to help them. On the other hand, we may write to them to encourage them. Let’s help to fill the world with love.

I am a student from Green Middle School.My name is Tina and I like helping others because I think it makes me very happy.Ioften help my classmates with their schoolwork. Sometimes I help clean up city parks.Igo to the old peoples house and do some cleaning for them once a month.So I am pretty popular there. I often visit the Childrens Hospital to cheer the sick people up.I read styories and sing songs for them.I am good with children ,I also give money to help people in trouble.I think giving is receving.Helping others is helping ourselves.
