Some students thought it’s a good idea to keep pets because many old people who will live alone at home can
get some comfort from them. Besides, get along well with animals will make our life interesting. However, other students are against the idea. In their opinions, if too many people keep pets at home, it’s harmful for the environment. What is worse, pets may make too many noise and even attack people.
As for me, I’m in favor of the former. I don’t think it’s bad for us to keep pets at home. But you must take some measures to prevent them from serious polluting our environment. 第三节 书面表达(满分25分)

I am a high school student from China. As for your view on gifts, I can not agree more. Here is my own experience.
The best gift I’ve received is my English teacher’s New Year’s card. On opening the card reading “My dear, just believe in yourself and you’ll make it!”, a sense of warmth crowded into my heart. For me, it’s more than a card but the trust she gave me. She believes I can, therefore, I really manage to do it. I know that it’s not the present but the thought that counts. That card reflected her concern which I’ll save forever.
Hope you share your best gift with us. looking forward to your reply.
