Changing information technology has greatly promoted the social progress ,has changed or is changing people?s work ,study ,life and thinking .Working at the company needs the help of attendance management information system ;Remitting money at the Post Office needs remittance management information system as well ;If telecommunications sectors have no management information system ,they will not manage the telecommunication services ,and so force .Through management information system ,services will be managed in an automatic and standardized way . Work load of management personal will be reduced too .What?s more ,while pace of processing information will be accelerated ,quality and availability will be promoted so fast to adapt to the changes of customers ?s needs .Therefore ,by using management information system ,enterprises can reduce cast ,improve quality ,shorten product?s delivery time or service time and earn higher profits so that they can enhance the level of enterprises and their competitiveness .The management information system are pushing us towards future revolution.
MIS (Management Information System),which focuses a lot of advanced management concepts ,is a modern enterprise management model in the information times .Nowadays ,its management fields has gone far beyond the inner resources planning and management of enterprises ,entered a stage under the management of enterprises in the E-business environment and will result in the out coming and the development of a new generation ERP ,which develops the production-oriented management of globalization .
The Bidirectional Subject-Selection System of Thesis is a typical management information system (MIS) ,Its development includes two aspects :the establishment and the maintenance of database background ,and the development of front-end applications .As for the former one ,the database is required to be built in a consistent ,integrated and secure way .but for the later one ,it demands a functionally intact application programs and an simple ,easy ,and useful user interface .
The development of The Bidirectional Subject-Selection System of Thesis is forward on the basis of the analysis of the current situation about selecting thesis topics in our university .At present ,selection of thesis topics in our university is operated by hands .Tutors and

influence on the level of papers in our university .This is inconsistent with the goal of building digital campus put forward by our university .Through the above analyses ,the development of The Bidirectional Subject-Selection System of Thesis agrees with the goal of school?s information construction and is practical no matter in economy or in the operation of techniques .The normal operation of this system will greatly alleviate daily affairs of choosing topics ,making it known and efficient .Therefore ,it is feasible to put forward the development of The Bidirectional Subject-Selection System of Thesis .
This system realizes subject-selection by information ,including announcement of subjects ,management of subject-selection information ,notice of subject-selection ,the skimming of subjects ,and selection of subjects ,provides instructors and graduates with the newest information about subject-selection and connects with internet so as to select subjects on internet .
In the process of making this system ,basic soft and hard environments are fully made use of ,and advanced management system development programs are about to take advantages of the present resources ,with a enhance the level and applying effects of system development ;this system purpose to uses modular program design methods ,which is convenient for various combinations and changes of the system functions and is easy for the non paticipants to supplement and maintain the system ;this system should have the maintenance functions of database and make deletion and storatron of data according to the user?s requirements .
Through study and analysis ,this system is developed with the use of ASP.NET technology ,uses SQL Server 2000 as database developing tool and Visual Studio.NET 2003 as system developing tool ,with a developing language ,C#. ASP.NET based on the technology .NET Framework?s Active Website ,is a part of Microsoft .NET Framework and is also a calculated environment developed by simplized application programs under the conditions of dense Internet .SQL Server 2000 is a system related with database management introduced by Microsoft Company .It provides an interface with full functions and easy-operated photograph .If special application system database applied in SQL Server database is offered in the application of ASP.NET ,it will enhance the efficiency of visiting the data ,and make the development of application programs easier .Therefore ,in the development of ASP.NET ,SQL Server becomes the first choice of the background database management system .Microsoft Visual Studio .NET is a complete set of development tool ,used to produce ASP Web application program ,XML Web services ,desktop application programs and mobile application programs .C# together with .NET is a brand-new programming language designed by Microsoft Company in terms of .NET .Microsoft Company says about C# like this “C# is a

1 绪论
1.1 管理信息系统的发展
管理信息系统是一个历史范畴,不是一个固定不变的东西。管理信息系统的内涵随着时间的变化而不断变化。从最早的业务处理系统，到流行的管理系统系统，从简单的部门信息管理，到企业战略信息管理，都能感受到管理信息的广泛应用。
随着计算机硬件和软件技术水平不断提高，计算机技术在企业中的应用越来越深入，管理信息系统从低级的业务处理系统不断地向高级的战略信息系统发展。
1946年，是世界公认的计算机发明的年代。计算机刚刚诞生的时候，主要用于各种科学计算。从20世纪50年代中期开始，计算机开始在企业管理中应用。计算机在企业管理中最早的应用是工资数据处理，目的是加快数据的处理速度和提高数据处理的精确度

。这时候的计算机应用只是偶尔的情况，这个阶段的应用被称为电子数据处理（Electronic 后来，计算机技术在企业中的许多管理领域内得以使用，这时候的计算机应用开始普

进入到20世纪60年代后，操作系统、数据库系统都已经开始成熟，因此计算机在企业管理中的应用更加普及。这时候，使用计算机不仅仅完成业务数据的处理，还使用计算机系统按照预先规定好的数学模型，处理一些诸如统计等复杂的操作。这个阶段的计算机应用被称为管理信息系统（Management Information System, MIS）。
进入20世纪70年代末，个人计算机、局域网迅速发展起来，且性能越来越高。人们希望利用计算机技术来完成那些琐碎、繁重的文档管理、公文传送、记事、调度等工作，并且把办公室中的所有工作人员置入一个协同的工作环境中，可以共享网络中的各种资源。这个阶段的计算机应用被称为办公自动化系统（Office Automation System, OAS）。
20世纪80年代初，决策支持系统（Decision Support System, DSS）的概念开始出现了。之所以出现决策支持系统的概念，是因为企业中的决策者已经不满足使用计算机技术处理那些常规的操作而是希望自己也参与到计算机系统中，并且可以根据需要随时调整参

数，以便分析比较复杂的决策问题。
这个时候，还出现了另外一个趋势，这就是高层支持系统（Executive Support System, ESS）。高层支持系统主要为企业的高层管理人员提供服务，并且以非常友好的方式，辅助高层管理人员执行特定用途的管理和决策。
进入20世纪90年代以来，随着计算机技术的调整发展和Internet的出现，计算机技术在企业中的作用越来越重要。这个时候，许多企业不把计算机仅仅看成一种手段，而是看成保证企业成功的一种战备资源。
从计算机应用的发展历程可以看出，管理信息系统的概念是动态的，其内容不停地发生变化。20世纪70年代的管理信息系统是一种狭义的管理信息系统，而当前的管理信息系统的概念是一种广义的概念。无论决策支持系统、高层支持系统，还是战略信息系统，都可以称为广义的管理信息系统，或者简称为信息系统[2]。
1.2 开发管理信息系统的意义
总的说来，计算机技术的发展，其性价比大幅的下降，使得其被大量广泛的使用。针对现实中的各种应用需求，相应的产生很多技术体系、技术标准，如J2EE、.NET，COM/COM+等。这又大大的推动了企业的信息化进程。其影响可以归纳为如下两点：
(1)计算机已经成为我们学习和工作的得力助手
今天，计算机的价格已经十分低廉，性能却有了长足的进步。它已经被应用于许多领域，计算机之所以如此流行的原因主要有以下几个方面。
①计算机可以代替人工进行许多繁杂的劳动； ②计算机可以节省许多资源；
③计算机可以大大的提高人们的工作效率； ④计算机可以使敏感文档更加安全。
(2)在学校和企业特别是大中专企业中开发计算机管理系统的意义
现在我国的学校和企业特别是大中专企业的资料管理水平还停留在纸介质或半自动由电脑处理一部分数据、由人工处理一部分数据的基础上，这样的机制已经不能适应时代的发展，因为它浪费了许多人力和物力，在信息时代这种传统的管理方法必然被计算机为基础的信息管理所取代。软件作为一项有力的工具，只能当此种工具，与我们的实践相结合起来的时候，才具有重大的社会价值及使用价值。因此根据学校和企业目前实际的资料管理情况开发毕业论文双向选题系统是十分必要的。
2 系统需求分析
2.1 系统的初步调查
经调查后，不难看到，我校关于毕业论文选题目方面的管理信息系统建设时间并不长，还处在起步阶段。目前，我校的论文选题都是人工操作方式进行，以纸张形式集合所有导师的课题，发放到各个班级。由于资源有限，发放各个班级的课题资料只有几份，而一个
