We all need other’s help, especially when we are in difficulties.
I remember when I started to learn English in primary school, I was poor in it. I even couldn’t pronounce the words correctly. My English teacher Miss Sun noticed it and came to help me. She gave me some English tapes and asked me to practice speaking in class. She also talked with me in English. It worked! My English was improved little by little. Now English is my favorite subject.
Six years have passed and I never forget Miss Sun’s help. I find one’s help to others is very important. It may change others’ life. So when there is someone that

8. I’m Ms Sun Ying Jian, a Chinese language teacher at Pat’s Schoolhouse. I come from Jilin province in China. I moved to Singapore 12 years ago. I teach children aged two to six.
I think the best way to teach young children is to make them interested in something, and let them work on their own. Today young parents are taking care of their children’s every need. Letting children do things themselves will help them in their school learning. During my classes, I tell the children to learn Chinese words on their own. They are good at it. Some children practice writing it while others try to read it. Parents have their own ways, but those may not always be good for their children. The best way is usually when children find out their own way to do things. When children do something wrong, I ask them to try another way.
Playtime is also important for children, as it is when they can learn best. It may just be sand in a playground to us, but children can do a lot of things when they are given some tools.
