They must, in turn, serve the needs of all people and serve the interest of world peace. All nations must learn from one another. Science involves effort and toil. At the same time, it calls for creativeness, imagination and cooperation.

第一部分（Part One）可制成单页，供参赛学生在朗读时边看边说。第二部分和第三部分（Part Two and Part Three） 的内容（提示除外）应制成幻灯片，在竞赛时投放在屏幕上，供参赛学生边看边说。 第三部分（Part three）应请一位主试人（interviewer）与参赛学生现场对话。由于在试卷中只给出了主题，因此主试人必须根据主题在竞赛前准备好问话，临场发挥。最好能邀请到熟悉各该主题的不同专家做主试人；不必只由一位主试主持所有的第三部分试题。

It’s a great pleasure to have you visit us today. I’m very happy to have the opportunity to introduce our company to you.
Our company was established in 1950. We mainly manufacture electronic goods and export them all over the world. We grossed about US $100 million last year, and our business is growing steadily. We have offices in Asia, North America and Europe, with about 1,000 employees, and we are working gladly to serve the needs of our customers. In order to further develop our overseas business, we need reliable agents to market our products.
