Why are so many people so afraid of failure? Quite simply because no one tells us how to fail so that failure becomes an experience that will lead to growth. We forget that failure is part of the human condition and that every person has the right to fail.

“The teenage years should be the best years of your life!”
Young people often hear adults say this, but many teenagers disagree. They simply don’t feel like they’re in the midst of their “best years”. The pressures of school exams and concerns about relationships with family and friends create a great deal of stress for the average teenager. Many find ways to cope with the stress. Most shoplifters agree that the January sales offer wonderful opportunities for the hard-working thief. With the shops so crowded and the staff so busy, it does not require an extraordinary talent to help yourself to one or two little things and escape unnoticed. It is known, in the business, as “hoisting”.
