Challenges faced by Chinese college students
This summer, many college students will go out of the ivory tower and set foot on a new life journey .Have you ever imagined that if you are going to leave the university campus and you want to find a job, what challenges will you be face with? And have you ever gotten ready to face these challenges? And then I will talk about some common challenges faced by Chinese college students and give some suggestions to overcome these challenges.
The first challenge is that many students lack of social adaptation ability .There are many differences between the school and society. Many students are cared by parents and teachers while they are in school, but when they enter the workplace, they needs to be independent. If a person want his career development goes well, he needs to improve the ability to adapt to the society constantly. For example, he need to establish and strengthen their professional role consciousness, adjust the life rule, improve the professional intelligent structure, and establish a good interpersonal relationship, etc.
The second one is that many students are not sure about their career development direction .According to a survey, more than 90% of university graduates are at a loss when they find jobs, they don't know what they want to do and what they can do .So even if they find a job, they won’t do it for a long time and change jobs frequently. Career choice is relative to several years’ development, therefore, the sooner they
determine the direction and goals, the better future they will have. Mastering the core job skills and getting the effective action is also important for college students.
The last one is that many graduates lack of work Experience, there is no doubt that they will be refused by the employers. Therefore, increasing internship experience and taking part-time jobs are necessary for college student to raise their employment capability and adapt the society as soon as possible.
There are many challenges faced by Chinese college students, if we don’t get ready to find a job, we will be the loser in the fierce competition environment. If you want to be the winner, just do it from now on.
