Part 1 Review of Module 1 I. 句型
1.-When is your birthday?-It’s on the 19th of September.
2.-When does the party begin?-It’s begins at two o’clock in the afternoon. 3.-What time do you leave home?-I leave home at about a quarter to eight. 4.-How do you come to school? -I come school on foot. / I walk to school.
5. I go to work by bus/ taxi/ underground. =I take a bus/taxi/an underground to work. 6. Ben always rides his bike to school. =Ben always goes to school by bike.
7.-Where do you cross the road? –We cross the road at traffic lights or at zebra crossings.
8. The old man crosses the road slowly. = The old man goes across the road slowly. 9. What do you want to be in the future? – I want to be a teacher.
10. What do you want to do in the future? – I want to give lessons to students. 11. What’s your dream job? – I want to be a pilot.
12. What does your father do? = What is your father’s job? = What is your father? II.动词转换成名词的规则
1.词尾+er . 如worker, teacher, waiter ,runner等。 2.以e结尾的+r. 如driver, diver, dancer等。 3. 词尾+or. 如actor, sailor, editor等。 4.词尾+ress (女性)。如actress, waitress等。
5.词尾+ist(成名成家)。如pianist, violinist, artist, cartoonist等。
Part 2 介词in, on, at 的常见用法 1.表示时间
●at 表示时间的一个点
e g . at 8 o’clock at noon at midnight at the beginning of ….
at Christmas at New Year
●in 表示较长的时间
e g . in February in summer in two weeks in five minutes
in the evening/afternoon ●on 表示具体的某个日期
e g . on Sunday on the 14th of June on Christmas Day
on New Year’s Day on Friday evening on the night of yesterday
2.表示地点
●at 表地点较小的地方
e g. at the bus stop at the door at the top of mountain at the end of the street ●in 表地点在里面或在一个比较大的地方
e g. in Shanghai in a car in the city in France in China in the sea ●on 表地点指面与面接触
e g . on the desk on the floor on the wall on the grass on the bicycle
