(1)much是形容词，意为“许多；大量”，用来修饰不可数名词。
(2)在英语中，有些以s结尾的名词所表示的物体由两个相同部分组成，如trousers，socks，shorts等，这样的名词作主语时，谓语动词要用复数形式。例如：

(3)how much可用来询问物品的价格，其句型结构为“How much is/are…？”，意为“……多少钱？”。回答时常用“It's/They're…”。例如：
