it, especially for clothes and shoes. M: That's right. Seeing is believing.
W: I've heard some friends say when they get the item, it's quite different from what they see on the website.
M: That really happens. Without close examination, we may meet with faulty products. W: What's more, it's not always so safe for us to pay online as hackers might steal the user name and password.
M: It's said that some measures have been taken to deal with this problem. Paying online is much safer than before, but I still have the feeling that it's not safe enough.
W: I can't agree more. That's why I only do shopping in physical stores. M: Me too. Sometimes I surf online shops to check some related information, and then go to a physical store to do the actual shopping. W: That's a good idea. Text 9
M: I don't know what I'm going to do if I lose my job.
W: Don't worry. I don't think you're going to lose your job over one mistake. M: It was a rather big mistake. When you work as an investment adviser, one small mistake can cost the company millions.
W: But it wasn't just you who was involved, right? You were only doing what your boss told you to do.
M: That's true, but my boss is dishonest. He said it was completely my fault. W: Let's think about what if that really happens.
M: I can live on my savings for about 3 months. But I really don't want to live that kind of life.
W: Well, when is your contract on your apartment up? M: Next month.
W: If you really lose your job, you needn't rent that apartment. I think you can share a room with my brother for free until you find another job. M: That's very kind of you but I hope that won't happen.

You should put all of your belongings in the lockers. You may, however, wear your coats to the testing rooms since the hallways are very cold at this time of the year. One possible version: Dear Peter,
Our school will launch an activity named English Reading during the summer vacation. And I’m writing to ask you for some help.
The activity is intended to expose students to a wide range of English reading materials, literature in particular, and thus help students develop reading skills and promote reading ability. During the activity, students are encouraged to share their favorite English materials and compare notes about them with each other. So,
proper reading materials are in great need. As a native speaker, you must know what reading materials appeal to current youngsters. I’d appreciate it if you could recommend some to us.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Yours,
Li Hua
