一、 概述
It可用来对句子的某一成分加以强调，构成强调句型。结构为： it+动词be+强调部分+who(m)或that+其他部分例句：
My brother bought a birthday cake for my mother the day before yesterday. 可以对句中的主语、宾语、目的状语、时间状语加以强调，构成强调句。 It was my brother who/that bought a birthday cake for my mother the day before yesterday.（强调买蛋糕的人）
It was a birthday cake that my brother bought for my mother the day before yesterday.（强调买的是蛋糕）
