ABSTRACT
The paper study on how to raise the upper limit of thick coal seam mining, combined with the mining conditions of 5303-2 working face in the BaoDian coal mine. By means of theoretical analysis and three-dimensional finite element numerical simulation software Flac-3D, the variation of the upper three bands caused by different mining schemes is analyzed, the upper limit of thick coal seam mining scheme of 5303-2 working face was determined. Besides, the corresponding safety technical measures, reasonable safety coal pillar layout scheme and scientific mining technology was determined. The determination of the improved upper bound mining scheme was successfully applied in the field, and the following conclusions were drawn:
(1)Through theoretical analysis and numerical simulation software Flac-3D simulation analysis, combined with the field mining technical conditions, a reasonable improved upper bound mining scheme is feasible. Three mining areas of mining upper limit were upgraded to 3.5m, 7m, 10m, through the numerical simulation analysis,the corresponding plastic zone height were respectively 29.3m, 36.6m, 39.24m. Though theoretical analysis, the minimum height of water flowing fractured zone were 37.5m, 38.15m, 39.31m.
(2)Through the summary and theoretical calculation, the better security coal pillar design scheme was provided. It can greatly reduce the coal pillar presses the coal amount, increase the recovery of coal resources utilization and improve the economic benefit, it conform to the national energy saving green mining provisions. The width of coal pillar of V-F74, V-F211 and V-F212 were respectively 31.9m, 63.8m, 91.2m, all of which are smaller than the width of primary coal pillar. The determined size of the waterproof coal rock pillar is respectively 41m, 47m, 60m.
The upper limit of thick coal seam mining scheme of 5303-2 working face was successfully applied in BaoDian coal mine, which increased the recycling rate of coal resources, improved the economic efficiency. It provides experience and guidance for the similar conditions of coal mining in China and has an important significance and value.
