There is bad news for students who like to use their mobile phones while they are studying. New research shows that students don't learn well when they are texting and checking their social media accounts (社交媒体账号) in class.

The research was made by a group of scientists from America Researchers watched145 American university students in the classroom Some of the students used their mobile phones during the class, while the others turned off their mobile phones. The head researcher, Dr. Jeffrey, said the students who didn't use their mobile phones got higher scores in the tests they took at the end of the class.

Dr. Jeffrey said teachers have to face many challenges in the classroom today. One of the biggest challenges is the battle of keeping students working. Many students think they need to be online and check messages even when they have important work to do in class. \is really difficult for the teachers to win the battle,\social media than learning.”

A school in London made a similar study, too. The study showed that students’ test scores increased by six percent after mobile phones were banned(禁止) in class. 根据材料内容选择最佳答案。
