【注】当不定式作主语时，特别是当主语较长而谓语较短时，常用“it”作形式主语，而把真正的主语放在谓语的后面。如：

David agreed to do the housework alone. Mike doesn’t know where to go this weekend. 【注】如果不定式作宾语而又跟有补语，通常要用“it”作形式宾语，而将不定式放到补语后面去。如：
They think it impossible to get everything ready on time. ★ 动词不定式作宾语补足语
Mr. Smith wants his students to be famous basketball players. 【注】在see / hear / watch / notice / let / make / have等动词后，作宾补的不定式均省去“to”。
★ 动词不定式作定语（一般为后置修饰语）
