It’s a traditional festival in China. It comes in winter.
It’s time to get new. We usually clean and decorate our house carefully before it comes. I always help my mother clean the windows and wash the clothes. We put on Changchun on the door and churchwoman on the window.
It’s time to get together. Everyone go home to get together with their family, though someone is far away from home. They must have dinner together on that day. They must visit their relatives and friends and say “Happy new year” to them. When the kids greet their grandparents, they can get money.

How are you? I’m really glad that you are interested in traditional Chinese festivals. There are many traditional festivals in China, such as Spring Festival, Mid-Autumn Day and so on. I’d like to introduce the Spring Festival to you. Spring Festival is the most important traditional holiday in China. It usually lasts for 15 days.
Days before the festival, people clean their houses. They think cleaning sweeps any bad luck. They decorate their houses with paper cuts. On the eve of the festival, family members get together and have big meals. Then they watch the Spring Festival Gala on TV. At midnight, they set off fireworks to welcome the New Year. During the festival, kids get lucky money from old people. People visit their relatives and friends. They wish each a happy year and good luck. How happy we are.

Now I am a middle school student, and I have some experience on study. I think a good plan is the most important.
In the middle school, there are a lot of things to do every day. So you must have a plan to help you do all the things, or you will be very busy and can’t do things well.
First, a plan can help you save much time. It makes you know which must be done first and which can be done second. It makes you very clear in doing things.
Second, a plan can help you do things better. A good order of doing things makes you happier and relaxed. You can do things quickly and happily and you will be interested in everything you do and want to do more.
Third, all kinds of small plans will help you know how to make a big plan---a life study plan. So if you want to make your life better and better, you should plan all the things you will do, and at last make a good plan for your life.

My Hometown
My hometown is beautiful place It stands near a wide river at the foot of low green hills. It has many tall buildings and wide streets. There are trees and flowers everywhere.
But it has not always been like that. In the old days, it was a sad dirty little town. Landlords and merchants lived in the few good houses. For the working people there were only dark, unhealthy rooms in old buildings and huts in narrow muddy streets. Nearly everyone was poor and many had no work.
Everything has changed since liberation. The people, led by the Party, have got rid of the mud and dirt. They have put up schools, theaters, shops and flats. They have an assembly hall and a hospital. Along the river they have built offices, hotels and parks. A lot of factories have sprung up. On the river, streamers and boats come and go busily, day and night. They carry the products of our industries to all parts of the country.
I love my hometown, and I love its people. They also have changed. Healthy and happy, they are going all out to build socialism.
我的家乡是个美丽的地方，它座落在一条宽阔的河流在绿色小山脚下。它有很多高层建筑和宽阔的街道。那里到处都是树和花。
