请阅读下面短文,并按照要求用英语写一篇150词左右的文章。
One day a nice old man found a cocoon (茧) of a butterfly. He took it home.
A few days later, a small opening appeared; he sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through that little hole.
Then it seemed to stop making any progress. It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could and it could go no further. Then the man decided to help the butterfly, so he took a pair of scissors and cut off the remaining bit of the cocoon. The butterfly then appeared easily.
But it had a swollen (肿胀的) body and small, fragile wings. The man continued to watch the butterfly because he expected that, at any moment, the wings would enlarge and expand to be able to support the body, which would be smaller in time. Neither happened! In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling (慢慢爬行) around with a swollen body and fragile wings. It never was able to fly.
The man did not understand that the limited cocoon and the struggle required for the butterfly to get through the tiny opening were Nature’s way of forcing fluid (液体) from the body of the butterfly into its wings so that it would be ready for flight once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon.

VII. 书面表达(25分) One possible version:
A kind man cut a cocoon open in order to relieve the pain of a butterfly struggling out of the cocoon, only to find it could never fly because of his help.
Our life is more or less like this. Sometimes, struggles or obstacles in our life are a must for our growth. It is these struggles or obstacles that increase our willpower and contribute to our success.
Nowadays, with only one child in most families, parents do whatever they can to satisfy the child’s needs and even do for him/her what should be done by himself/herself. As a result, too much care and protection from parents deprives children of chances to grow strong by overcoming obstacles.
If I were a parent, I would first keep my child well informed that life is never easy and that he/she should be ready to face any difficulty. Besides, I would expose him/her to the hardships in life, providing him/her with chances to take on challenges.
