2009年满分作文1:
The short passage describes a phenomenon that koalas at the Featherdale Wildlife Park are repeatedly awoken up from deep sleep, because tourists want to hug them and be photographed with them. What’s your reaction to the practice?
With the development of the modern world, more and more peolpes tend to visit zoo. In the eyes of the tourists, animals are lovely. They even treat them like children, so that they can’t help hugging them and being taken photos with these cute creatures. But these practice does do harm to animals. Take those koalas for example. They are waken up now and then, so that they can’t have a good rest and they feel sleepy and bored easily. How poor they are! Try to inmagine that if you were trying to sleep off a dozen times and some round, furry creatures kept waking you, how angry you would be. So as for me, it is necessary to prevent the tourists being taken photos with animals. They are also creatures and they also need rest.
Give them some spare time and let them sleep!
Koalas at the Featherdale Wildlife Park in southern Australia are repeatedly awoken up to be photographed with tourists. This practice does affect Koalas’ rest, which make them unhappy and even annoyed. Animals are cute and they are different from human beings. When tourists visit the zoo, they always want to make their trips special, so they hug animals and are photoed with animals. But they never think of the animals feelings. Once I was in a zoo, I saw a tourist hug a monkey and the monkey seemed unwilling to be hug. I aksed the tourist whether she thought about the animal’s feelings, and she said, “I don't think it has its own feelings.”
They think animals’ existence is only to satisfy our need or desire. How terrible it is! They should exchange their position with animals. In this case, they can find animals’ normal life is

terrible and their health is in danger. In my opinion, that the department makes the practice illegal is reasonable and understandable. Animals also need to live a normal life, and human beings shouldn’t be allowed to bother them.

Hi, I am Mike. I just went through my first year of college. But at the college I needed to know some basic life skills. such as balancing a check—book, laundry, and the things you have to be able to handle that I never thought of in the high school! Once that first semester was over and I got used to the college life, I loved it—good facilities, helpful instructors. and a good library. The Students’ Union organizes various parties every week. I also go to cinemas and concerts, and often spend Saturday nights in pubs and clubs.
One thing I think is important is to get yourself active in things. I was on the dance team in college and met a ton of people that way ··· it was so much easier to make friends when you had a common ground. [写作内容]

It was hard for Mike to accomplish the general adjustment but he began to enjoy himself after that owing to different activities. In his opinion, freshmen should be active in order to make new friends.
Personally, I’m preparing to enter a university and leaving the high school where I’ve been studying for three years. I really had a fabulous time in this school where I grew from a lovely child to an adult. I think I will considrately miss my life here and every sngle person I met here. Meanwhile, I am looking forward to my new college life. I sometimes daydream that maybe I’ll have friendly roomates and be taught by a group of warm-hearted and excellent teachers. It will be wonderful if this ideal daydream come into reality! However, life is not always all roses and you’ll never know what you will meet in your school. But I’am an active girl and I will do what Mike taught us to---take part in various activities. I’m sure I’ll make a lot of new friends and with them I will be abosolutely able to adjust the differences in a short time!
