1. Functional Description Overview
Automatic Gage Control (AGC) controls the Gap of Finish Mill (FM) stands to produce the desired FM Exit strip thickness. AGC is provided by the coordinated effort of several functions. Figure 1 is a simple block diagram of the AGC functions. A detailed description is available for each function. Eccentricity is described in a separate document.
