to put theory into practice and provide them with opportunities to self-check what they have done so that their writing will be more native.
Conclusion
To sum up, this paper is devoted to the research on the syntactical causes, manifestations, and solutions to Chinglish in middle school students’ English writing. Chinglish is an objective and unavoidable phenomenon for Chinese learners in a certain period. Chinglish often happens among English learners because they hold different thought patterns, lack the opportunity of understanding their cultural backgrounds and direct contact with the target culture. Since Chinglish seriously affects the writing quality, we must avoid it as much as possible. According to the causes and manifestations of Chinglish, the author proposes several solutions as advice. The paper surely holds some shortcomings for the lack of research material and the limited ability of the author, so much more work should be carried out in the future.
