将保存有安装配置文件“Config.Files”的U盘插到将要安装PKS R400的机器上,然后启动计算机,插入Initialization光盘,启动时按着F12,进入到安装界面,系统会自动安装,在安装过程中系统会提示选择安装配置文件,选择到U盘中存的“Config.Files”即可。以下是详细安装步骤
? In the target machine, insert Experion PKS System Initialization media and
boot from the Experion PKS System Initialization media.
? Ensure that Boot Sequence in BIOS is set to boot from CD/DVD drive first.
Please keep watching the screen while booting, and press any key as soon as you see the message ―Press any Key to Boot from CD or DVD…‖ ? When the system boots from Experion PKS System Initialization media,
WinPE is loaded into the target machine and the Experion PKS System
Initialization PreInstall Utility screen appears. Browse to the configuration files and select InitMediaOptions.xml file. Click Next. This xml file can be located on a floppy disk, local system drive, or USB pen drive.
? Experion PKS System Initialization PreInstall Utility loads the configuration
information from Options files. You can select ―Use Drive C:‖ if they want to format only C drive and install OS on this drive. In this case, data on the other partitions will be retained. This option needs to be selected only if the system
is having more than one partition and no raw partitions.
? Enter configuration details for hard disk in the Disk Configuration section. ? Select the appropriate media location. 这里选DVD
? Enter the IP details, Subnet Mask, and Default Gateway in the Network
Configuration for local machine section. Click Next.
? Select the I accept the terms in the License agreement radio button on the
License Agreement screen after reading the EULA. Click Install. If it is a media-based install, the system prompts for the media.
? Once the OS installation is completed, insert Experion PKS System
Initialization DVD again when you see this Experion PKS System Initialization R400.1 dialog box.
If the autorun dialog pops up, close the dialog. During installation, if you see ―Restart Now‖ prompts, no action is expected. The system will reboot automatically.
? During installation, if you see any ―Found New Hardware‖ messages, no
action needs to be taken.
The system restarts several times automatically during Experion PKS System
Initialization.
? If the media is already present in the local machine, installation proceeds
without prompting Experion PKS System Initialization media.
Install status will appear showing which feature is being installed/run, an approximate time for the feature and overall install to run and a
description/message area that gives information for the install. The R400.1 Experion PKS System Initialization sequencer is running in the background sequentially running install features and communicating to the status. If product installation was selected installation DVD is prompted.
Click Cancel if you want to cancel the install. It can be restarted at the point of cancellation at a later time by running setup.exe.
? Click OK to finish the installation once you get the install complete message. ? The system reboots automatically. If it fails to automatically reboot, then
reboot the computer manually. Click setup.exe to restart the installation

1. If a software protection key (dongle,软件狗) is supplied in the Experion
PKS media box, insert the key into one of USB interface in the computer.
2. After installation, Check the FTE Device Index & the FTE setting as follows: (1) From Start menu, right click Network or right click the Network icon in notification area of task bar and select Properties.
(2) Click Network and Sharing Center.Check the Network Adapter scanning order. (3) Select Manage network connections from the left menu.
(4) Right-click one of the FTE network connections (Yellow or Green) and then click Properties.
(5) Select Continue to the User Account Control Prompt.
(6) Select Honeywell FTE Mux-IM Protocol Driver, and then click Properties. (7) Verify FTE MUX-IM Protocol Driver Properties dialog: Select Configure tab.
(8) Select the Honeywell FTE Adapter #1in the left pane. Set/Verify the values for the following:
? Device Index Value for the machine - Change the value to a unique number from 1-511.
Verify the following values:
The IPMC Destination Address (this is the multicast address assigned to the FTE Community default as 234.5.6.7)
? UDP Destination Port, Default is 51966 ? UDP Source Ports Port, Default is 47837
Note: You can modify the IPMC address and the UDP source and destination ports, but it is recommended to retain the default settings. Click OK.
(9) From the Network Connections window:
Select the Honeywell FTE Adapter #1, right-click the adapter and select Properties. (10) Select Continue to the User Account Control Prompt if it appears. (11) Verify the FTE Adapter #1 Properties:
Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPV4), select Properties.
(12) Verify IP Address and other IPV4 Settings. Correct any values that are incorrect
or missing and then click OK. (13) Reboot your computer.
(14) Log on back as local administrator.
(15) Wait until the machine has completed all the process starts and network connections.
Verify Network Settings using IPConfig /all command from a command window:
If FTE Mux Driver is working correctly, it will show up in the IPCONFIG as Honeywell FTE MUX-IM Virtual Miniport Driver.
3. New Account and User Group
Computer → manger → configuration→ local user and groups→ right click ―user‖ → Click ―new user‖ to create a new account
Double click the New Account →Member of → Add → Advanced → Find now → Add the New Account to user group ―Administrator‖ &‖Product Administrator‖
4. HOST Configuration
You must identify the computer name and associated IP address of each Experion PKS server and Console Station in the hosts file. Both server and client computers require a modified hosts file with identical entries, so you can edit the hosts file on one computer and then copy it to each computer in the Experion PKS system.
The hosts file is located in C:\\WINDOWS\\system32\\drivers\\etc\\.
